Photographer Spotlight: Jeremy Cowart

Nashville based photographer Jeremy Cowart's beautifully clean and crisp photography style is stunningly simple yet effective. His sense of selective focus and light gives him the ability to completely immerse viewers into a different world, a smaller world. Oh and when he's not photographing small time celebrities like Sting or Carrie Underwood he spends his time traveling the world and making images for his book Hope in the Dark an altogether exceptionally engaging book covering the plight of the African people and the AIDS epidemic sweeping their continent. Now I know this all seems quite mundane to most of us Big time photographers, but If you can spare a few minutes I would recommend checking out his website.
